The result is in my opinion one of the best progressive rock albums of What I really like about this album is that it takes the best parts of classic 70's progressive rock and mixes it with modern production techniques. Unlike many of their peers Frost sounds modern and immediate which I would think could appeal to a younger audience/5().

while other guitar players were using effects pedals, dick played straight guitar leads at high volume through sunn and west amps. i still have the lp record and 8 track tape of "frost music". i was happy to see vanguard released the cd version of this album and others that "the bossmen" recorded. it's sad that dick passed away so young/5(26).
